Abstract
Majčino mlijeko je najbolja prehrana za dojenčad i dojenje je preporučen način hranjenja djece. Kako bi se dijete moglo hraniti samo dojenjem, majke se često suočavaju sa situacijama gdje moraju hraniti dojenčad na javnim mjestima, bilo da su unutra ili na otvorenom. Međutim, dojenje u javnosti nije uvijek prihvaćeno. Mnogi kulturni, pravni, društveni i vjerski čimbenici igraju ulogu u prihvaćanju dojenja u javnosti. Stoga razina prihvaćenosti dojenja u javnosti može imati veliki učinak kako na stopu dojenja u zajednici, tako i u društvu. Cilj ovog rada je bio objasniti važnost majčinog mlijeka i dojenja općenito te pobliže opisati potrebu za dojenjem u javnosti. U ovom radu je također provedena anketa s ciljem utvrđivanja stavova studenata stručnog studija Sestrinstva o dojenju na javnom mjestu. Anketa je provedena na Fakultetu zdravstvenih studija u Rijeci na 115 ispitanika.
Abstract (english)
Mother's milk is the best nutrition for infants and breastfeeding is the recommended way of eating for children. In order for a child to be only breastfed, mothers often face situations where they should breastfeed in public places, either inside or out of the building. However, breastfeeding in the public is not always accepted. Many cultural, legal, social and religious factors play a role in accepting breastfeeding in the public. Therefore, the level of public acceptance of breastfeeding can have a major impact on the rate of breastfeeding in the community and therefore in society. The aim of this paper was to explain the importance of breast milk and breastfeeding in general, and to describe in greater detail the need for breastfeeding in public. In this paper a survey was carried out to determine the attitudes of the students of the Undergraduate Professional Study of Nursing. The survey was conducted at the Faculty of Health Studies in Rijeka on 115 respondents.
