Abstract
Traumatske ozljede prsnog koša ubrajaju se u manje učestale traumatske ozljede, prema podatcima iz strane literature udio traume prsnog koša iznosi oko 20%, od čega je najmanji udio strijelnih rana. Prema karakteristikama razlikuju se ustrijelne i prostijelne rane. Primarno zbrinjavanje temelji se na brzom odazivu hitne medicinske pomoći čija je primarna uloga stabilizacija i transport u najbližu medicinsku ustanovu koja može osigurati pravodobno zbrinjavanje i dijagnostiku traume ili politraume uzrokovane djelovanjem vatrenog oružja. Uloga medicinske sestre/tehničara prisutna je od samog početka zbrinjavanja u okvirima primanja poziva u medicinsko prijavno dojavnim jedinicama, radom u timu jedan hitne medicinske pomoći, kao i radom u bolničkim ustanovama u objedinjenim hitnim bolničkim prijemima, kirurškim odijelima, operacijskim dvoranama i jedinicama intenzivnog liječenja. Osim navedenog uloga medicinske sestre/tehničara ostvaruje se kroz trajno praćenje bolesnika, rehabilitaciji i edukaciji u svrhu održavanja ili unaprjeđenja životnog standarda bolesnika i članova njihove obitelji.
Abstract (english)
Traumatic chest injuries are considered less frequent traumatic injuries, according to data from foreign literature, the share of chest trauma is about 20%, of which the smallest share is gunshot wounds. According to the characteristics, gunshot wounds and bed wounds are distinguished. Primary care is based on the rapid response of emergency medical services whose primary role is stabilization and transport to the nearest medical facility that can provide timely treatment and diagnosis of trauma or polytrauma caused by the action of firearms. The role of the nurse/technician is present from the very beginning of care in the framework of receiving calls in medical reporting units, working in the first medical aid team, as well as working in hospital institutions in unified emergency hospital admissions, surgical suites, operating theaters and intensive care units. In addition to the above, the role of a nurse/technician is realized through permanent monitoring of patients, rehabilitation and education for the purpose of maintaining or improving the standard of living of patients and their family members.
