Abstract
Suvremena medicina svakim danom napreduje. Kako napreduje medicina, tako napreduju brojne metode liječenja. Do prije 20-ak godina moždani udar je bila dijagnoza od koje se umiralo. Moždani udar bio je vodeći uzrok invaliditeta u svijetu do unatrag 20-ak godina. Otkrićem trombolize i uvođenjem mehaničke trombektomije dolazi do revolucije u liječenju moždanog udara. Od potpune plegije ili motoričke oduzetosti bolesnik je u stanju izaći na svojim nogama. Da li zemlje EU kasne za SAD-om pokušalo se u ovom radu istražiti sa detaljnom analizom i usporedbom smjernica za liječenje moždanog udara.
Abstract (english)
Modern medicine is developing every day. As medicine develops, so do several treatment options. Until about 20 years ago, stroke was a diagnosis from which people were dying. Stroke was the leading cause of disability in the world until 20 years ago. With the discovery of thrombolysis and the introduction of mechanical thrombectomy, revolution happened in the treatment of stroke. From complete plegia or motor paralysis, the patient is able to get out on his feet. Whether EU countries are lagging the US was investigated in this paper with a detailed analysis and comparison of guidelines for stroke treatment.
