Abstract
U svom dugogodišnjem radnom iskustvu u Zavodu za hitnu medicinu susrela sam se sa različitim vrstama nasilja nad medicinskim sestrama i tehničarima koje su mi bile poticaj za istraživanje o raznim i posebnim iskustvima, te izloženosti psihičkom nasilju kolega medicinskih sestara/tehničara na radnome mjestu na području Hrvatske. SZO (svjetska zdravstvena organizacija) nasilje definira kao namjerno korištenje fizičke snage i moći akcijom ili prijetnjom prema drugoj osobi, prema grupi ljudi ili čitavoj zajednici i prema samome sebi što bi moglo rezultirati ili rezultira deprivacijom, nerazvijenošću, psihološkim posljedicama, ozljedom ili smrću (1). Cilj ovog rada je ispitati izloženost medicinskih sestara/tehničara psihičkom nasilju na radnom mjestu nasilja na radnom mjestu i identificirati izvore i vrste nasilja na radnom mjestu. Istraživanje je provedeno Google obrascem putem Interneta u kolovozu 2023. godine. Kao instrument istraživanja korišten je online upitnik za potrebe ovog istraživanja koji se sastojao od 52 pitanja.
Abstract (english)
In my many years of work experience at the Emergency Medical Services, I have encountered various forms of violence against nurses and technicians, which motivated me to conduct research on different and specific experiences and exposure to psychological violence among colleagues in the field of nursing/technical medical staff in Croatia. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines violence as the intentional use of physical force or power, threatened or actual, against oneself, another person, or against a group or community, that either results in or has a high likelihood of resulting in injury, death, psychological harm, maldevelopment, or deprivation [1]. The aim of this study is to examine the exposure of nurses and technicians to psychological violence in the workplace and to identify the sources and types of workplace violence. The research was conducted through an online Google Form survey in August 2023. An online questionnaire consisting of 52 questions was used as the research instrument for this study.
