Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je prikazati važnost holističkog pristupa u zdravstvenoj skrbi bolesnika koji boluju od depresije. Vodeći se smjernicama dostupnim iz elektroničkih baza podataka iz razvijenih zemalja, poput Sjedinjenih Američkih Država, u kojima medicinske sestre imaju mogućnost uključivanja u holistička udruženja, u kojima dobivaju šire znanje i edukaciju o holističkom pristupu i holističkoj skrbi u provođenju zdravstvene skrbi bolesnika. Sukladno podacima Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije depresija se nalazi na četvrtom mjestu ljestvice najvažnijih zdravstvenih problema i prema predviđanjima 2030. godine depresija će biti drugi najvažniji svjetski zdravstveni problem općenito. Uloga medicinske sestre u holističkom pristupu i holističkoj skrbi bolesnika koji se liječe od depresije ima vrlo važnu ulogu u samom terapijskom i rehabilitacijskom procesu.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the importance of a holistic approach to the health care of patients suffering from depression. Guided by guidelines available from electronic databases from developed countries such as the United States, where nurses have the opportunity to include in holistic associations where they gain wider knowledge and education about holistic approach and holistic care in conducting health care for patients. Depending on the data of World Health Oganization, depression is ranked fourth in the ranking of major health problems, and according to the predictions of 2030, depression will be the second most imortant global health problem in general. The role of a nurse in the holistic approach and the holistic care of depressed patients plays an important role in the therapeutic and rehabilitation process itself.
