Abstract
Povećanje broja starije populacije dovelo je do povećanja broja kroničnih rana kao i povećanje troškova zdravstvene skrbi i pred same zdravstvene djelatnike stavlja težak zadatak u odabiru adekvatnog pristupa liječenja i pristupa kroničnoj rani. Kronične rane su veliki socioekonomski problem zbog njihove dugotrajnosti u liječenju i tretiranju. Dijabetičko stopalo, venski ulkus i dekubitus su najčešće kronične rane.Briga i skrb za bolesnika sa kroničnim ranama zahtijeva multidisciplinaran pristup i educirano zdravstveno osoblje kako bi tijek liječenja bio što učinkovitiji i bezbolniji za bolesnika. Medicinska sestra je važan član zdravstvenog tima koja sa svojim znanjem o kroničnim ranama može ubrzati proces cijeljenja kronične rane, pridonijeti smanjivanju infekcija kroničnih rana i sveukupno pridonijeti smanjivanju incidencije i prevalencije kroničnih rana.
Abstract (english)
Increasing the number of older people has led to an increase in the number of chronic wounds, as well as an increase in health costs, and to the same health care workers, it places a difficult task in choosing an adequate approach to treatment and access to chronic wounds. Chronic wounds are a major socioeconomic problem due to their longevity in treatment and treatment. Diabetic foot, venous ulcer and decubitus are most commonly chronic wounds. Concern and care for patients with chronic wounds requires a multidisciplinary approach and trained medical staff to a course of treatment more efficient and less painful for patients. A nurse is an important member of a health team who, with her knowledge of chronic wounds, can accelerate the healing process of chronic wounds, contribute to reducing chronic wound infections and overall contribute to reducing the incidence and prevalence of chronic wounds.
