Abstract
Jedinice intenzivnog liječenja razvile su se zbog nužde zbrinjavanja životno ugroženih bolesnika. Sam početak nastao je u takozvanim „šok sobama“ iz kojih su se s vremenom pod vodstvom liječnika anesteziologa razvile samostalne jedinice intenzivnog liječenja. Intenzivno liječenje obuima čitav niz postupaka koji uključuju konstantan nadzor, monitoring vitalnih znakova, liječenje, postupke reanimacije, održavanja života teško bolesnim i životno ugroženim bolesnicima do pružanja kvalitetne zdravstvene njege. Postoje različiti tipovi jedinica intenzivnog liječenja, a u njima svaki bolesnik ima svoj zdravstveni tim koji brine i skrbi o njemu. Da bi jedince intenzivnog liječenja funkcionirale potreban je timski pristup radu. Točno se zna tko je za šta odgovoran, a komunikacija u takvom timu mora biti višesmjerna. Komunikacija je glavno i osnovno sredstvo za uspostavu dobre suradnje među članovima zdravstvenog tima. Njen osnovni preduvjet je da bi bila uspješna da među članovima zdravstvenog tima komunikacija mora biti dvosmjerna, i svi članovi moraju imati priliku da dobiju pozitivnu ili negativnu povratnu informaciju.
Abstract (english)
Intensive care units developed due to the necessity of disposing of life-threatening patients. The very beginning was created in so-called "shock rooms", from which, over time, anesthesiologists practiced independent units of intensive care. Intensive care supplies a whole range of procedures that include constant monitoring, vital signs monitoring, treatment, resuscitation procedures, life-long life and life-threatening patients to providing quality healthcare. There are different types of intensive care units, each patient having their own health care and care team. In order for the intensive care unit to function, a team approach is needed. It is true who knows who is responsible, and communications in such a team must be multidirectional. Communication is the main and essential means of establishing good co-operation among members of the health team. Its basic prerequisite is to be successful in communicating to members of the health team communication, and all members must have the opportunity to receive positive or negative feedback information.
