Abstract
Holizam kao filozofiji „mjesto“ je u sestrinstvu jer je filozofski identitet sestrinstva zasnovan na jedinstvenoj interakciji između medicinske sestre i bolesnika/bolesnog djeteta koje mora biti podržano holističkim pristupom. Holistički pristup direktno utječe na djetetovu sigurnost i zdravlje, poboljšanje njegovih „dobrih“ strana kao ličnost, samopoštovanje i samopouzdanje, ali i na kvalitetu života. Dijete u bolnici pokazuje različite reakcije ovisno o svojoj dobi, odnosno psihofizičkim karakteristikama. Kada je dijete dugotrajno hospitalizirano može se javiti širok spektar psihičkih i tjelesnih poremećaja koji se nazivaju hospitalizam. Kada se dijete priprema za specifične postupke u prijeoperacijskim fazama potrebno je voditi računa o razlikama u pripremi u odnosu na odrasle, opremi, postavljanju te posebnim koracima. U kontekstu kirurške skrbi, primjena individualizirane i holističke zdravstvene njege uvelike pomaže djetetu u prevenciji hospitalizma kroz prizmu adekvatne i pravovremene pripreme za kirurški zahvat.
Abstract (english)
Holism as a philosophy is a "place" in nursing because the philosophical identity of nursing is based on the unique interaction between the nurse and the sick child, which must be supported by a holistic approach. A holistic approach directly affects a child's safety and health, improving his or her "good" sides as a person, self-esteem and self-confidence, as well as the quality of life. The child in the hospital shows different reactions depending on his / her age and psychophysical characteristics. When a child is hospitalized for a long time, it can occur a wide variety of mental and physical disorders, called hospitalization. When preparing a child for specific procedures in the preoperative stages, it is necessary to take into account the differences in preparation in relation to adults, equipment, setting up and special steps. In the context of surgical care, the use of individualized and holistic health care greatly helps the child to prevent hospitalization through the prism of adequate and timely preparation for surgery.
