Abstract
Ovaj završni rad govori o temi povezanosti depresije i moždanog udara u pacijenata. Prvi dio rada spominje i opisuje moždani udar, etiologiju, povezane pojmove, simptome, priča o anatomiji mozga i moždanog krvotoka, čimbenicima rizika te o liječenju i rehabilitaciji nakon moždanog udara. Govori se i o epidemiologiji moždanog udara i aktualnom stanju u hrvatskoj. Drugi dio rada opisuje depresiju, epidemiologiju te aktualno stanje u svijetu i hrvatskoj, etiologiju depresije te oblike depresivnog poremećaja. Zadnji dio rada govori o depresiji kao čimbeniku za pojavu moždanog udara, depresiji nakon moždanog udara, čimbenicima rizika za razvoj depresije nakon moždanog udara i o liječenju depresije nakon moždanog udara.
Abstract (english)
This final paper discusses the connection between depression and stroke in patients. The first part of the paper mentions and describes stroke, etiology, related concepts, symptoms, talks about the anatomy of the brain and cerebral blood flow, risk factors, and treatment and rehabilitation after stroke. There is also talk about the epidemiology of stroke and the current situation in Croatia. The second part of the paper describes depression, epidemiology and the current situation in the world and in Croatia, the etiology of depression and forms of depressive disorders. The last part of the paper discusses depression as a factor in the occurrence of stroke, depression after stroke, risk factors for the development of depression after stroke and the treatment of depression after stroke.
