Abstract
Antenatalna zaštita uključuje pravovremeno prepoznavanje, prevenciju i liječenje patoloških stanja koje bi mogle utjecati na majku i plod. Redoviti pregledi, ultrazvučne procjene, laboratorijske obrade te detaljna obiteljska anamneza pridonose prevenciji majčinog i djetetovog morbiditeta i mortaliteta. Nadzor se provodi tokom cijele trudnoće sa psihološkog, socijalnog i zdravstvenog aspekta. Glavni cilj antenatalne zaštite je osigurati rođenje zdravog djeteta a istovremeno smanjiti rizik za majku. Antenatalna skrb ima mnogo komponenta kao što su vrijeme početka skrbi, broj i razmak pregleda te kvaliteta pregleda. Prenatalnu njegu pružaju primalje i liječnici primarne zdravstvene zaštite ukoliko se radi o trudnoći kod koje se ne očekuju komplikacije. S druge strane liječnici specijalisti fetalne medicine i primalje na klinici skrbe za trudnice kod kojih se razviju komplikacije i patologija trudnoće. Rano prepoznavanje trudnica s rizičnim čimbenicima nudi intervencije kako bi se umanjio ili spriječio rizik od nepovoljnih ishoda.
Abstract (english)
Antenatal care includes the timely identification, prevention, and treatment of pathological conditions that could affect the mother and fetus. Regular examinations, ultrasound assessments, laboratory treatments and a detailed family health history contribute to the prevention of maternal and child morbidity and mortality. Monitoring is carried out throughout the pregnancy from a psychological, social and health aspect. The main goal of antenatal care is to ensure the birth of a healthy child while reducing the risk to the mother. Antenatal care consists of many components such as the time of onset of care, the number and interval of examinations, and the quality of examinations. Prenatal care is provided by midwives and by primary care physicians when no complications are expected in the pregnancy. On the other hand, maternal-fetal medicine specialists and midwives at the clinic provide prenatal care for pregnant women who develop complications and pathology of pregnancy. Early identification of pregnant women with risk factors offers interventions to reduce or prevent the risk of adverse outcomes.
