Abstract
Tehnecij je radioaktivni element koji se nalazi na atomskom broju 43. Otkriven je u prvom dijelu 20.stoljeća o od tada se započinje primjenjivati u dijagnostici. Svi njegovi izotopi su radioaktivni, a najčešće se koristi 99mTc koji je zapravo njegov metastabilni izomer. Razlog velikoj uporabi je njegovo monokromatsko gama zračenje od 140 ke-V-a i kratko vrijeme poluživota koje iznosi 6 sati. Nastaje iz izotopa molibdena. 99Mo, koji se dobiva nuklearnom fisijom te se dalje koristi za konstruiranje genratora 99Mo-99mTc. Kako bi dobiveni 99mTc mogao bilježiti razne farmake, mora proći odeređene kemijske promjene poput redukcije u liofiliziranim spojevima farmaka, kako bi se dobio slikovni prikaz organa. U konvencionalnoj nuklearnoj medicini tehnecij ima bitno mjesto u slikovnoj dijagnostici.
Abstract (english)
Technetium is a radioactive element that has atomic number 43. It was discovered in twentieth century and since then it has beed used in diagnostics. All it's isotopes are radioactive but the most used one is 99mTc which is it's metastable isomer. The reasons why it is used in diagnostics are pure monochromatic gama radiation and short physical half-life of six hours. It is produced from isotope molibdenum. 99Mo, which is a result of nuclear fission. In order to be marked with various pharmaceuticals, technetium must be part of chemical reactions such as reduction in lyophilized pharmacological compounds to obtain the image of the organ. In conventional nuclear medicine, technetium has an important place in diagnostics.
