Komponente povezane s vještinom uključuju brzinu, agilnost, snagu, ravnotežu, koordinaciju i vrijeme reakcije. Većina borbenih sportova zahtijeva mješavinu tehnike, snage, aerobne kondicije i brzine. U borbenim sportovima obično nema jedinstvene karakteristike izvedbe.
Abstract (english) Kickboxing is a dynamic and intense fighting sport where athletes are classified according to gender, body weight and age categories. It requires complex skills and tactical excellence for success. The main goal of the training is to prepare kickboxers to effectively manage the technical-tactical and physiological demands of the fight. Poor anaerobic or aerobic ability is a major problem and this can be the main cause of injury. While on the other hand long and frequent trainings per week can lead to overtraining and thus increase the risk of traumatic brain injury. Components essential to training this sport include cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and body composition. Skill-related components include speed, agility, strength, balance, coordination, and reaction time. Most combat sports requires a mix of techniques, strength, aerobic fitness and speed. In combat sports, there are usually no unique performance features. Psychological skills are the most important factors related to performance for most sports such as motivation, self confidence and mental resistance. Therefore, it is important that trainers, sports scientists collect objective information about the main physical, physiological and psychological characteristics of their kickboxers to improve training organization, establish short-term and long-term training goals, provide objective and accurate feedback and motivate athletes during training. At the beginning of the hypothesis research, "Professionals are more often injured than amateurs." But no statistical significance was found between amateurs and professionals, p = 0,499. Which is probably because this research has a small number of examinees so it can not be safely stated that there is no difference between these two groups. Regarding the diagnosis and the specificity of the injury, ankle sprain is the most represented, with a total of 6 fighters, followed by muscle strain that hit 5 athletes, and the same number of athletes suffered a fracture. So this confirms the hypothesis that the ankle sprain is the most common injury in the kickboxer.
