Physiotherapy within a large number of neurosurgery patients represents the primary form of therapy. The most frequently used form of therapy in patients with intracranial aneurysms is neurosurgery, and in the rehabilitation part physiotherapy has the most important role in adapting daily life activities and improving the quality of life. The work presents 32 patients with intracranial aneurysms at different localization. All patients were subjected to neurosurgery process at KBC Rijeka by Dr. Dinko Štimac, at Neurosurgery Department, in the period from 2015 to 2017. The data was collected by examining the letters of release and the patient's operating reports. The aim of the study was to determine the difference in the incidence of males and females and which is the most common localization of intracranial aneurysms. Further more, determine whether there is a difference in age-related involvement, prior arterial hypertension, and the occurrence of multiple aneurysms in patients. According to statistical data treatment, women are more affected than men, and the most common localization of intracranial aneurysms is on the front part of the communicans artery. The study found that there is a higher risk of intracranial aneurysms with older age. Comorbidity such as previous arterial hypertension occur in 50% of cases, and patients within a very small percentage suffer from multiple aneurysms.
