Sažetak | Sestrinstvo je zvanje kojem je glavna zadaća njega pacijenta i zaštita zdravih osoba, a obuhvaća razne postupke, znanja i vještine zdravstvene njege kroz koju medicinske sestre i tehničari bolesnom ili zdravomu pojedincu pružaju pomoć u obavljanju aktivnosti koje pridonose zdravlju, oporavku ili mirnoj smrti. Kardiovaskularne bolesti su najveći uzrok smrtnosti na globalnoj razini, oduzimajući 17,9 milijuna života svake godine, stoga se uloga medicinskih sestara/tehničara sve više proširuje iz domene pružanja zdravstvene njege na prevenciju i dijagnostiku istih. Kompetencije medicinske sestre/tehničara obuhvaćaju znanja i vještine te spoznaje i postupke planiranja, organiziranja, provođenja i procjene kvalitete provedene zdravstvene/sestrinske njege, one jasno određuju razinu prava, dužnosti i odgovornosti medicinskih sestara u njihovom području rada sukladno razinama obrazovanja. Thalassotherapia Opatija - Specijalna bolnica za medicinsku rehabilitaciju bolesti srca, pluća i reumatizma, više od 60 godina pruža usluge liječenja, rehabilitacije i prevencije bolesti srca i krvnih žila. Profesionalnost osoblja i kvaliteta pruženih usluga prepoznati su i od strane Ministarstva Zdravstva Republike Hrvatske koje je 2012. godine imenovalo Thalassotherapiju Opatija referentnim centrom za kardiološku rehabilitaciju. Thalassotherapia Opatija pruža usluge mnogih kardioloških dijagnostičkih metoda koje uključuju: EKG, spirometriju, ergometriju, ergospirometriju, holter tlaka, holter srca, ambulantu za elektrostimulaciju i aritmije srca te salu za ugradnju elektrostimulatora srca, salu za invazivnu koronarografiju, telemetrijsko praćenje pacijenata, TILT test, RTG srca, ultrazvučni pregled srca, stress ECHO, TEE i MSCT. Također, Thalassotherapia Opatija prepoznala je značajnu ulogu medicinskih sestara/tehničara u zdravstvenoj njezi i liječenju kardioloških pacijenata, ali i dijagnostici, stoga mnoge od navedenih dijagnostičkih metoda provode medicinske sestre/tehničari ili uz liječnike specijaliste imaju značajnu ulogu u provođenju istih. Medicinske sestre/tehničari koji sudjeluju u kardiološkoj dijagnostici, uz temeljno znanje stečeno obrazovanjem, moraju unaprijediti svoje znanje o srcu i krvožilnom sustavu, funkcioniranju istog te moraju znati prepoznati patološke nalaze dijagnostičkih metoda kako bi o istima mogle obavijestiti liječnika. |
Sažetak (engleski) | The main task of nursing as a vocation is taking care of patients and protection of healthy individuals; it includes various procedures, knowledge, and health care skills through which nurses/medical technicians help a sick or healthy individual to perform activities that contribute to health, recovery, or peaceful death. Cardiovascular diseases are the global leading cause of death, taking 17.9 million lives each year, therefore, the role of nurses is increasingly expanding from the domain of providing health care, to prevention and diagnosis. The competencies of nurses include knowledge and skills, as well as procedures of planning, organizing, conducting, and assessing the quality of the provided health care/ nurse care; they clearly determine the levels of rights, duties, and responsibilities of nurses in their field of work according to their levels of education. Thalassotherapia Opatija, Special hospital for medical rehabilitation of heart, lung and rheumatic diseases has been providing services for the treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases for more than 60 years. The professionalism of the personnel and the quality of the services provided were also recognized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia, and in 2012 Thalassotherapia Opatija was appointed with the title of the Reference center for cardiac rehabilitation. Thalassotherapia Opatija provides services of many cardiac diagnostic methods which include ECG, spirometry, ergometry, ergospirometry, pressure holter monitoring, heart holter monitoring, clinic for electrostimulation and heart arrhythmias, room for invasive coronarography, tilt test, heart X-ray, ECHO, stress ECHO, TEE and MSCT. Also, Thalassotherapia Opatija has recognized the significant role of nurses in health care and treatment of cardiac patients, but also in diagnostics; many of the above-mentioned diagnostic methods are performed by nurses, who together with specialist doctors have a significant role in their implementation. Nurses participating in cardiac diagnostics, in addition to the basic knowledge acquired through education, must improve their knowledge of the cardiovascular system and its functioning and they must be able to recognize pathological findings of diagnostic methods to inform the doctor. |
