Sexual diseases are a major problem for the entire population. Every year, there is an increasing number of people infected. Young people enter into sexual relationships early today, not thinking about the consequences for themselves and their partners. Adolescence is considered to be a period between the ages of 12 and 19, or when a person passes from childhood to maturity. In this period there is a greater interest in the opposite sex, and therefore young people often engage in unprotected relationships and are exposed to the risk of sexually transmitted diseases. For the purpose of this study, research was conducted with students of Medical high school Pula. The purpose of the reaserch was to determine whether there is a difference in knowledge and attitudes between young men and women and between students of medical and physiotherapeutic orientation at Pula Medical School. A total of 185 participants participated in the study, out of which 180 questionnaires were valid from the point of view: nurse / general medical technician and physiotherapist / physiotherapist. The age of respondents was 16 to 20 years, students from the second to fifth grade. The research was voluntary,with no repercussions (rewards or penalties) for its fulfillment. In relation to the response of the students of nurses / medical technicians and the responses of the physiotherapist there is a difference in the majority of questions, however, the statistically significant difference is confirmed in only five responses. What emerged in this research shows a relatively weak knowledge of the diseases and risks of sexually transmitted diseases that can be gained by sexual partners.
