INTRODUCTION: CrossFit is a high-intensity sport that includes elements of Olympic weightlifting, gymnastic movements, cardio training and various props such as dumbbells and kettlebells. As a sport, it is relatively young because it was invented in 2000, but it quickly gained popularity and is practiced by a large number of people today. The average duration of training is from 60 to 90 minutes for a recreational athlete and professional athletes train twice a day, where one training session lasts about 120 minutes. As in other sports, injuries occur in CrossFit where the most frequently injured parts of the body are the shoulder joint, the knee and lower back. RESEARCH OBJECTIVE: The main goal of this research was to examine the frequency of injuries among CrossFit athletes in the sport clubs CrossFit Maksimir, CrossFit Karlovac and AGI'S GYM. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The respondents who participated in the research were men and women from the sport clubs CrossFit Maksimir, CrossFit Karlovac and AGI'S GYM. 61 respondents participated in the research. For the purpose of the research, an anonymous questionnaire of 9 questions was created, which was used to obtain dana that was used exclusively by the author of the paper. The questionnaire was administered online through Google forms over a two week period. Filling out the questionnaire took about five minutes. RESULTS: The results showed that the most frequently injured joint was the shoulder joint, that women had fewer injuries than men and that respondents from ages 24 to 29 had a higher number of injuries than other age groups. CONCLUSION: This research showed that injuries in CrossFit are becoming more frequent, so more work needs to be done on their prevention.
