The burns are very demanding and not a pleasant injury to the child. There is a disruption of the skin integrity, which is the largest organ of the body. Skin of child is more sensitive and with integrity it is still insufficiently developed in adults, which poses additional danger. Most common burns at young children are diurons. They are the most often produced by the action of high temperature fluids. We can split the burns according to the percentage of skin surface and depth. By the depth, we divided them into four levels. When it comes to accident, the most important is the quicker and more correct reaction. An improper and delayed reaction will result in even greater damage, which can be a problem during the assessment itself and further treatment or treatment. During the first contact of the physician with the injured child, an initial triage is extremely important. The nurse plays a major role, according to the physician's disposition, during the care of an acquired child. The aim of this paper was to present statistically processed data on children burns. The following information were included in the treatment of statistical data: children up to two years of age, gender, hospitalization dates, degree of burn, percentage of involvement, causes, treatment and outcome. These data was taken from the KBC Rijeka Children's Clinic. In the period 2007 - 2018, there were 68 children at the KBC Rijeka Children's Clinic.
