UVOD: Kvaliteta života (QOL) je subjektivan pojam jer interpretacija svakog
pojedinca ovisi o njegovom/njezinom osobnom stajalištu. Izvanredni studenti sestrinstva
predstavljaju skupinu pojedinaca koji studiraju uz rad. Samim time, njihova kvaliteta života
dodatno je opterećena kako poslom, tako i zahtjevima studiranja uz rad i ostalim privatnim
obavezama.
CILJ ISTRAŽIVANJA: Utvrditi percipiranu kvalitetu života izvanrednih studenata
sestrinstva kroz društvene, zdravstvene i akademske odrednice.
ISPITANICI I METODE: Ispitivanje je provedeno na prigodnom uzorku (N=31) među
izvanrednim studentima 1., 2. i 3. godine Preddiplomskog stručnog studija Sestrinstva,
Fakulteta zdravstvenih studija u Rijeci, neovisno o spolu i dobi. Podaci za istraživanje
prikupljeni su putem anonimnog upitnika kreiranog na online platformi Microsoft office Forms
tijekom mjeseca lipnja i srpnja 2023. godine. Za potrebe ovog istraživačkog rada korištena je
prilagođena inačica upitnika preuzetog iz istraživanja: „Kvaliteta života studenata u Republici
Hrvatskoj“ autorice Irme Kovčo Vukadin. Zaključci nakon provedenih ispitivanja doneseni su
razini značajnosti p<0,05. Za statističku obradu podataka korišten je program Statistica
14.0.0.15 (TIBCO Software Inc.).
REZULTATI: U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 31 ispitanik, većinom žene (68%), od 26-
30 godina (N=18), između 5-10 godina radnoga staža (N=13). Najveći broj ispitanika živi u
obiteljskom domu/s roditeljima (42%), za njih 49% ovo je ukupno 3. godina studiranja, s
prosječnom ocjenom „vrlo dobar“ (61%). Ispitanici su iskazali prosječnu razinu zadovoljstva
studijem i studiranjem, zdravljem (psihičkim i fizičkim), osrednju kvalitetu provođenjem
slobodnog vremena i kvalitetu života, te visoku razinu samopercepcije i samopoštovanja.
ZAKLJUČAK: U odnosu na istražene odrednice kvalitete života izvanrednih studenata
sestrinstva, percipirana kvaliteta života je prosječna/osrednja, studenti u dobnoj skupini 19-25
godina i studenti s radnim stažem <5 godina imaju višu percipiranu razinu kvalitete života u
odnosu na ostale studente, dok uvjeti stanovanja ne utječu značajno na percipiranu kvalitetu
života studenata.
Abstract (english) INTRODUCTION: Quality of life (QOL) is a subjective term because the interpretation
of everyone depends on his/her personal point of view. Part-time nursing students represent a
group of individuals studying alongside work. Therefore, their quality of life is additionally
burdened by work, as well as the requirements of studying with work and other private
obligations.
RESEARCH GOAL: Determine the perceived quality of life of part-time nursing
students through social, health and academic determinants.
RESPONDENTS AND METHODS: The examination was conducted on a
commemorative sample (N =31) among part-time students of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of the
Undergraduate Professional Study of Nursing, Faculty of Health Studies in Rijeka, regardless
of gender and age. The data for the survey was collected through an anonymous questionnaire
created on the online Platform Microsoft office Forms during the months of June and July
2023. For the purposes of this research paper, an adapted version of the questionnaire taken
from the research was used: "Quality of life of students in the Republic of Croatia" by Irma
Kovčo Vukadin. Conclusions after the conducted tests were reached to the level of significance
p<0.05. Statistica 14.0.0.15 (TIBCO Software Inc.) was used for statistical data processing.
RESULTS: The study included 31 respondents, mostly women (68%), aged 26-30
(N=18), between 5-10 years of service (N=13). The largest number of respondents live in a
family home/with parents (42%), for 49% of them this is the 3rd year of study in total, with an
average grade of "very good" (61%). The subjects showed an average level of satisfaction with
study, health (mental and physical), mediocre quality by spending free time and quality of life,
and a high level of self-perception and self-esteem.
CONCLUSION: In relation to the investigated determinants of the quality of life of
part-time nursing students, the perceived quality of life is average/ mediocre, students in the
age group 19-25 years and students with seniority <5 years have a higher perceived level of
quality of life compared to other students, while housing conditions do not significantly affect
the perceived quality of life of students.
