INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVE OF THE RESEARCH: Physical activity is defined as any physical movement produced by the contraction of skeletal muscles that requires energy consumption. Regular physical activity is known to improve health and reduce an individual's risk of chronic disease and death, while physical inactivity has a major impact on health worldwide. Therefore, the aim of this research was to examine the physical activity of patients who are users of physical therapy at the patient's home. RESPONDENTS AND METHODS: In the research, the short version of the IPAQ questionnaire was used as a measuring instrument to assess the physical activity of the respondents. Three categories of physical activity were examined, namely: walking, moderate physical activity and intense physical activity. The physical activity of the subjects was examined with regard to the age group, with regard to the sex of the subjects, and with regard to the functional status of the subjects measured by Barthel's questionnaire. 50 respondents aged 18 to 80 from the Imotska Krajina region who were users of physical therapy at the patient's home took part in the research. RESULTS: The test results showed that the group of subjects under 45 years of age had better results on the IPAQ test than the group of subjects over 45 years of age and that there was no statistically significant difference in the results of the IPAQ test with regard to the sex of the subjects. Also, a positive correlation was found between the results achieved on the Barthel questionnaire and the IPAQ test. CONCLUSION: The obtained results indicate that users of physical therapy at the patient's home have a lower average physical activity, and fall into the IPAQ category "Minimally active" because the average MET minutes of all subjects does not exceed 3000 MET minutes.
