Abstract
Nuklearno medicinska slikovna dijagnostika pomoću in vitro obilježenih leukocita izvodi se u svrhu dokazivanja infekcije koštanog i mekog tkiva, a jedna od čestih indikacija je sumnja na infekciju endoproteza zglobova. Retrospektivnom analizom medicinske dokumentacije utvrđena je prevalencija infekcija koštanog tkiva i endoproteza zglobova dijagnostičkom metodom obilježavanja leukocita s 99mTc-HMPAO kod 88 pacijenata upućenih na pretragu u Klinički zavod za nuklearnu medicinu KBC-a Rijeka, u vremenu od studenog 2015. do svibnja 2018. godine. Također je utvrđeno da li je infekcija češće prisutna kod endoproteza zgloba koljena ili kuka te kakva je dobna raspodjela prema spolu i uputnoj dijagnozi. Prethodno je opisan kompletni postupak obilježavanja leukocita te način i uvjeti snimanja s naglaskom na doprinos hibridne slikovne dijagostike u odnosu na planarno snimanje.
Abstract (english)
Diagnostic imaging in nuclear medicine with in vitro labeled leukocytes is performed when bone or soft tissue infection needs to be detected. One of most common indications for this procedure is suspected infection of endoprosthesis. Prevalence of bone and endoprothesis infection has been determined by retrospective analysis of medical records of 88 patients that had been sent to Nuclear Medicine Department of Clinical Hospital Center Rijeka for undergoing diagnostic procedure with 99mTc-HMPAO labeled leukocytes, from November 2015 till May 2018. Furthermore, it has been determined whether infection is more commonly present in knee or hip endoprothesis and cross-comparison of age categories, gender and diagnosis has been done. Previously, whole procedure of labelling leukocytes and imaging has been described with addition of clarifying the contribution of hybrid imaging versus conventional planar imaging.
