During pregnancy, it is essential for the woman to be explained about the changes in her body that are attributed to her adjustment. It is important to raise awareness about antenatal care and instruct the woman to go for regular check-ups. Pay special attention to the woman's diet, assessment of fetal growth, screening for gestational hypertension and chromosomal and congenital anomalies. With the help of all examinations and screenings, we can monitor whether the fetuses are developing adequately or notice any irregularities. Various types of complications can occur during pregnancy. The most well-known are: discordant growth, growth retardation, intrauterine fetal death, twin transfusion syndrome and twin polycythemia and anemia. Giving birth to twins in itself can be exhausting and time consuming. But, it is important to monitor the general condition of the mother and fetuses. It is certainly recommended to give birth in tertiary centers so that the mother and children receive adequate medical care. During vaginal birth, various fetal malpresentations are possible, and it is crucial to determine the position of the fetus by ultrasound before the very beginning. In case of abnormal positions, severe asphyxia and narrow pelvis, it is recommended to complete the birth surgically or by caesarean section.
